Magnolia Mayhem 40 this Thursday at Magnolia Motor Speedway
$5,000-To-Win Super Late Models PLUS Late Model Sportsman
Columbus, Mississippi (05/11/20) – Magnolia Motor Speedway is pleased to announce the Magnolia Mayhem 40 for this Thursday night, May 14. The event will be headlined by a $5,000-to-win / $300-to-start Super Late Model program. The Glenn’s BBQ and Fish 602 Late Model Sportsman join the action with a $500-to-win / $50-to-start event.
To comply with restrictions and guidelines from local officials, the grandstand area and Speed Zone parking will NOT be open for this event. Eight individuals per racecar will be allowed in the pits. Pit spots are marked off 10 feet apart, and everyone is asked to please practice social distancing. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to please bring masks and hand sanitizer.
No personal vehicles or side-by-sides will be allowed in the pits.
“We’ve had some practice sessions the past few weeks, and worked on developing pit parking and strategies that would allow us to have our first race of the year,� Magnolia Motor Speedway promoter, Johnny Stokes said. “I’m very excited to have this event, but I can’t stress enough how important it will be for the teams to please maintain their distance in the pit area. We want to make sure that we go above-and-beyond to meet all of the requirements that have been laid out for us.�
While the grandstands will not be open, fans can watch the event online by being a subscriber to www.DirtOnDirt.com or www.FloRacing.com. Every lap of every event for both divisions will be shown.

The Super Late Model entry fee is $100. Super Late Model non-qualifier's will receive $50.
A $200 Super Late Model fast time award has been posted courtesy of The Goat Farm Posse Souvenir Trailer and That Little Store Somewhere.

Super Late Models 8� Spoilers ONLY, Magnolia Motor Speedway Rules Apply.
Super Late Model Tire Rule: Hoosier 1350, Lucas 03 on all four corners anytime with a Hoosier 1600, Hoosier LM40, Lucas 06 right rear option in the feature only.
Droop Rule: Maximum 50 ½�
NO TOLERANCE. Tire samples will be taken.
